🧭 Roadmap & known issues

We try to be open about where Team Assistant stands and where it is going. This page tracks two things: what we are working on next, and the issues we already know about in the current release — with workarounds where they exist.

Roadmap

The roadmap is directional, not a commitment. Items, scope and order can change, and nothing here is a guaranteed delivery date.

In progress

Targeted for version 5.21.

  • Dynamic rows 2.0 — a complete redesign with better performance

Planned

  • AI template builder — build entire templates with AI

Shipped

Delivered in the last two releases. Everything older is in the changelog.

5.19 — 3 Aug 2026

  • Redesign of the Variables section
  • Add variables directly from tasks
  • AI features:
    • create cases from the AI chat,
    • edit cases from the AI chat, including triggering events,
    • advanced variable creation in the AI Builder,
    • AI monitoring — a complete overview of AI workflow queries, requests, token usage and more.
  • Plugin store — install plugins (smart events, controllers and other specifics) directly from the GUI
  • Redesign of cron jobs
Items stay in this section for two releases, then move to the changelog.

Known issues

Functional limitations and bugs in the current release. Each entry lists a workaround where one exists. Resolved issues move to the changelog under Fixed.

No known issues in 5.19 at the moment. The PDF print generation issue reported in 5.17.4 was fixed in 5.19 — see the changelog.
